Good morning friends, new & old!! Been on Threads almost from the beginning, trying to make the switch, but Zuck & his donation will be the thing that does it. Kinda sad, as I’d found real community there. Hoping to find that community here as well…seems possible as it appears everybody’s here now 😁

Trying to get back to some inner peace (& maybe a side gig if Head Start disappears), so working on this trunk to bookshelf transformation. Still have to finish/attach shelves & add hinges to the middle part, but the big stuff is done. This no watching MSNBC has freed up some time/attention 😁

GM old & new friends! Kinda pissed about this new platform (jk!). Screen time had dropped dramatically over the last couple weeks & I’d been rediscovering non-tech hobbies. Felt pretty good honestly. But the excitement of a chronological feed & no Nazis is just too tempting, so 🤷♀️ Happy Friday!!

I haven't job searched in 10 years but my niece is looking for a work from home job so that she can help me around the house. Full time or part time is fine. Barely matters what. Thanks everybody!
So Threads or nah? I truly can only do 1 at a time. Threads saved me from the other place. Not a fan of zuck, but found lots of friends there. Now I see lots of friends here, so do I switch? Do we like it here?
