As well as finishing my second book, I’ve also been lucky enough to have reviewed 2 books so far this year. This landed on my letter box today. @engstromjimmy.bsky.social’s 4th edition of Web Development with Blazor. Looking to up your Blazor skills? Get a copy and work though! 💯 recommend!

Things I learned today: Behind curtains hides a very hard window sill. Turns out that’s useful information… just a little too late.
Pretty cool, we updated a #Blazor project from .NET6 to .NET10, switched from Blazor Server to SSR, and updated the project to follow the new template structure in less than 10min :)
Great writeup and video by @engstromjimmy.bsky.social about how we're improving Razor editing and Hot Reload in Visual Studio 2026:
If you’ve ever been frustrated by Razor intellisense, slow feedback, or Hot Reload behaving… oddly, this explains what was going on under the hood. 📖 Blog: buff.ly/DrKiWP8 🎥 Video: buff.ly/NXg5TiQ

Why Hot Reload got better: Razor co-hosting explained
I had a chat with <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidwengier/">David Wengier</a> about Razor co-hosting. I’d heard the term before, but I didn’t really get what it meant in practice. After…

Streamers and content creators! I need soundproofing. What do you use? We have a large room 20m² (215ft²), it is very echoey. We have upgraded from a headset to a Shure SM7B; the SM7B picks up a lot more of the room. Please share your setup and learnings from soundproofing ❤️
Are Blazor developers real? 👀 Spoiler: YES — and finding them might be easier than you think. I share lessons from .NET’s early days, Angular/React habits, and why C# & ASP.NET are the keys to Blazor. 🎥 Watch here 👉 buff.ly/r6zs2ZG #Blazor #dotnet #webdev
I've been wanting to share these for an age because I'm so proud of them. But there were surprise gifts for @engstromjess.bsky.social and @engstromjimmy.bsky.social so I couldn't 😅 Logos are super hard, but I'm so happy with how far my drawing skills have come in 3 years!
-Will Blazor meet the same fate as Silverlight? This is still to this day one of the most common questions I get. In this new video, I break down why Silverlight failed and why (spoilers) that fate does not apply to Blazor.

Don't spend 1 hour writing code when you can spend 10 hours failing to vibe code it. I honestly enjoy vibe coding, at least to a degree. It gives me a moment of rubber ducking at the same time as the problem (hopefully) gets solved. What do you think? Do you vibe code?

When Scott Hanselman presents, you know you're going to have a good time. I didn't expect tears. My parents didn't sell their van, but they did buy me my first computer. Without their belief in me, I wouldn't be where I am today. Thanks Scott, for reminding me of this ❤️ buff.ly/qnlcl7a

Final chapter of the book back from @engstromjimmy.bsky.social after his technical review. Pffttt. It was a lot. But rather than thinking how bad I am at this (my normal resposne) instead I went through 1 by 1. The chapter is already much better, & I'm actually looking forward to the 2nd pass!
