If we could tap into even a tiny fraction of this geothermal energy, it could power the world for millennia with clean energy on demand day and night and no matter the weather or the season. The only problem is that in most places on earth, geothermal power is locked away deep below the surface – too deep to drill, except in those lucky locations where underground reservoirs of steam and hot water exist close to the surface. But new geothermal technologies could make this energy accessible almost anywhere. In this video we’re going to find out how exactly how these technologies are digging deeper and hotter and hoping to bring geothermal from niche to mainstream. And we'll take a look at leading goethermal startups Quaise, Fervo and Eavor to find out their progress and future plans. Are we running out of critical minerals for EVs? Not really. Reserves are sufficient; the challenge is scaling up mining and refining quickly. Alternative chemistries like LFP and sodium-ion batteries, and rare-earth-free motors, offer flexibility if needed. https://youtu.be/C0ZtX5d-WE0

EV Myths You Thought Were Facts

Electric vehicles are taking the world by storm, sparking conversations and controversies alike. Are they the green champions of the road or hidden culprits of environmental harm? Can they truly replace the roar of petrol engines without missing a beat? And is our infrastructure ready to support this electric revolution, or will it buckle under the pressure? In this video, we're plugging into the heart of these debates. We'll explore what happens when innovation meets the open road, and whether the journey towards electric mobility is as smooth as the ride in an EV itself. Join me as we navigate through the electric landscape, separating fact from fiction with solid evidence and expert insights. It's time to discover the real story behind electric vehicles. I might have to write off my Peugeot EV that has 2,500km on the odometer. It just needs a firmware update and absolutely no one thinks they can do it as it was originally sold in Japan (now in Australia). Does anyone have any suggestions? Or know who will buy a lightly used 50kWh battery at least 😭😭

It's been a bad week for me on social media, I've had two men chasing me across platforms & searching out alternative contact methods to voice their EXTREME disappointment that my professional opinions differ from theirs. Seemed like a good time for my first post, are people more respectful here?
