Warrantless search of your phone: as an international traveller this is something I worry about. A citizen or lawful permanent resident can refuse a search but risk seizing of their device indefinitely for inspection. Permanent residents doing so will risk additional scrutiny and even deportation.

An excellent discussion of balcony solar in the US which is now legal in 10 States. I find it absurd that a State like #Nevada with extreme solar potential is not even looking at this and has legislation that is actively against it. I'd love to heard from other Nevadan's who feel the same way.

Some studies indicate up to 20% of corporate C-suite executives are psychopaths, 20x the general population prevalence! Would the same be true if we looked at cooperative worker owned organizations? Somehow I doubt it, then again there are those apparently delighted to let a psychopath lead them.

I know there's many people who won't touch AI, but I think using it to improve accessibility is an excellent use case we should all consider. It's a shame Bluesky doesn't offer it by default but I get there are significant costs with doing so at scale. However you can easily do it yourself...
