I can't wait to watch how gamers will complain about EA but then continue to buy their games, knowing that the money is going directly to Jared Kushner and the Saudi state. We already know how well the pushback against Chick-Fil-A has gone. 🫠

USPS as a whole is usually fine but my local post office is SO frustrating. All the local post offices seem to be very "whatever" about scanning in mail; they just skip that step and forward it on to the next step, so it'll frequently flip from "Waiting for item" to "Out for delivery" with zero

I'm, like, REALLY tired of having negative opinions about things/people and then not being able to get away from them. I don't WANT to be negative, but when the same people force themselves into my awareness over and over it somehow makes me feel worse about myself.

Please tell me I'm not alone in having that one group chat that has the most insane arguments. Like it's got that one person who will die on a hill that you didn't even know existed, and somehow your viewpoint is ALWAYS in direct conflict with whatever mental health crisis they're having.

Five years ago today, the 1,000-ton Vautravers Building arrived in its new location 📍 In about 24 hours, the 127-year-old building was moved approximately 30 feet west and 10 feet south toward N Clark Street in order to reconstruct century-old Red and Purple Line track structures.

"The problem...is that NASCAR was seeking $15 million from the state for next year’s event" FUCK. THAT. How about NASCAR fund it themselves if they want this ridiculous waste of time and money to shut down Chicago for a few days?

While NASCAR is hoping to get the Chicago Street Race back to Grant Park next summer, it may have hit a speed bump in negotiations for a state grant to help defray costs for the event.

I feel like this article understates the situation. I would rather see *all* of Congress replaced. Every single one, regardless of party. Throw the whole thing out and start over with new people who are willing to, like... do stuff their constituents are actually asking for.

CNN Poll: Voters favor Democrats by an 8-point margin heading into the midterms | CNN Politics

Less than 100 days before the midterms, voters are agitating for wholesale change in Congress and looking to the Democratic Party in hopes of making that happen.

Hmmmm you know I'd been pondering cancelling Apple Music and going back to the oldschool way of just syncing stuff to my phone and maybe this is my sign.

How are tourists somehow always 50% louder than even the screaming crazy people on the L? These people are screaming over noise cancelling. Dad is very confidently telling some very incorrect facts about Chicago to his kids.
