What if power-ups weren’t rewards… but irreversible damage?

That’s the question that started everything.

I imagined people whose abilities came at the cost of destroying themselves.

Blood. Muscle. Skin. Bones. Brain.

The idea was heavily inspired by One Piece. I loved the concept of transformations, but I kept wondering:

What if every transformation brought you closer to your own end instead of making you stronger?

That question became the first version of DRIVE: an AI-powered prompt experience where every playthrough was different.

But something never felt right.

I loved the concept.

I didn’t love the world I’d built around it.

So I did something I never thought I’d do.

I deleted almost everything and started over.

The meaning of the Drive changed.

The universe changed.

Only one thing survived:

Silas.

Everything that exists today—from SILAS to INMATE:6382, from AEGIS to Halloran—grew from that single decision.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for an idea…

…is let its first version die.
