I love the contrast that can be achieved through working with direct sunlight. The way it interacts with human skin is stunning, capturing the reflective and detailed nature of our largest organ. This photo of Rose evaded me for months but it is one of my favourite nude portraits of her.
There are positives and negatives to both the summer and winter solstice. I love the long, light days of summer and the warmth but winter provides a different light, free from the intense, damaging UV rays that radiate and harm our skin.

I recently decided to try appeal the various inaccurate content labels that had been wrongfully applied to my account and posts. It’s with relief that both my account and posts are now all labeled as non-sexual nudity (artistic), as they should be. That’s progressive and democratic social media!
