I am devastated. Reggie Bannister, from Phantasm series, passed away August 9th. I loved him from the first Phantasm that I saw so long ago. He was perfect as the ice cream man. The first Phantasm was perfect & his role in Ravager was too close to real life. Rest, my friend, safe from the Tall Man.

Finished reading: Devour Me, Again The Poems of Bambi Lake by Bambi Lake 📚 🏳️‍⚧️ A good read. Miss my poetry books! Loved “I”, “Baba”, and “Beanstalk”, the last one was very powerful. I also really liked “You Don’t Love Me So I’m Ugly, And I’m Going To Kill Myself, And It’s All Your Fault!!”

A poem in my new collection talks about aging as a trans person, especially if memory issues arise. Who will protect our identity? Who will let us have respect when we can’t control it? It’s something I think about more and more.
