omgg that's why i've been feeling iffy about these art trends lately!!! i'll see a really nice art but i don't even realize it's from a trend until i see another drawing with that same composition. really sad the artists who came up with these ideas don't get the credit they deserve

thinking about the popularity of so many "redraw trends" and plagiarism of compositions by all sorts of artists (it comes up often for gposing but 2D artists do it too). i have to sum up my discomfort with it as follows: it's artists treating other artists the same way A/I treats art as data
