Anthropic extended Claude Fable 5 to July 12. My theory: They get users addicted to Fable-level intelligence . Going back to Opus will feels painful, then see how many will pay API prices. Their next move: nerf Opus 4.8 just enough so everyone really feels the downgrade. 😅

Fable5 is back for 5 days. How you're going to use it? Be picky on how you're going to use it. It was really great at finding bugs, analyzing data and great architecture design . Don't use it for implementing code.
