The level of derp on the Internet this week from folks who should know better is going to give me an aneurysm.
The fun part about the internet is that this is **indistinguishable** from a phishing attack against @cloudflare.social customers. There's no binding between "Cloudflare.pay" and "Cloudflare.com" so we have no way to know if this thing is legit when it asks for permission to your account.
It certainly *looks like* Progress / @telerik.com is autoinstalling the new Fiddler Classic 6.0 update **even without the user accepting the new EULA**, one that precludes commercial usage. I'm not a lawyer, but it's hard to imagine that behavior holding up in court.

By knowing how to make the keys, the hackers did not need to break into the safe that holds them. They essentially figured out how to cut keys at scale.
