I traced my family roots (on findagrave.com no less) a while back, and for what it's worth, they were mostly Scottish and Italian, but eventually came to the US via Canada. Quite often, I wish they would have just stayed in Canada, the US is an absolute joke and we'd have been better off there.

I'm watching Freddy's Nightmares again before bed (on Tubi), and wow, this one has "Ted" from Friday The 13th Part 2
One of my fave days of high school, sitting in the parking lot with my friend we decided to just leave, and go get McDonald's. I had my old golf clubs in the back of my truck, so I asked "hey, wanna hit the range before we go back?" After a few buckets, we just ended up watching RHPS at his house.

Others have said it previously, but I love how this promotional image from the 1990 Stephen King's IT looks like a prestige drama courtroom show, that just so also happens to involve a clown.
It's still so weird seeing school busses running this early in the year. Our county fair is going on this week, and as a kid, we always returned to school after it was over, like one last summer hurrah. Hell my folks would always plan some of their vacation time around it.
We live such a boring life here, my daughter legit gets excited on Wednesdays to see the trash truck come and pick up our garbage, lol.
I had a birthday sleepover as a kid and we rented IT (1990) by my own request, I remember watching it with my friends, and one kid on my soccer team was so freaked out he had to call his mom to come pick him up, lol, what a hell of a movie. 🤡💜

My folks came for a visit today, and brought us some fresh vegetables from their garden (as well as pizza), which was nice. If you're in the US (or just aware of the MAGA mess here), you know it's dangerous to buy basically ANY fruits or veggies at this point, so this will happily be enjoyed.
