The whole point of the Bill of Rights is to protect the only true minority - the individual. It limits the governments power to harm the individual. The whole constitution is designed to limit the governments power.

I dreamed he audibly stroked out on live TV. There was a loud buzzing noise as his brain fried, then Natalie rushed at the camera flailing wildly to make them turn it off. I know other people’s dreams are boring but it was the sweetest, happiest moment 🥹

As I read through SCOTUS’ dismantling of districts designed to encourage Black (and other POC) representation, it’s clear that this decision may actually favor Ds as a whole. One solution would be for Ds in ALL districts to commit to nominating POC and for voters to commit to electing them.
For those in Maine determined to impose a purity test on Janet Mills, she didn’t “refuse to ban data centers” she vetoed a PARTICULAR bill under PARTICULAR circumstances. It’s not all black and white.
