To aspiring artists, I want to give a message that working a "real" job or something non art related doesn't mean you've given up on your art. It can just be that you're valuing a strong foundation to support yourself. And living that kind if reality can give you the raw experiences of life to

I think.. the fact that my art has left some kind of footprint or legacy, even if to one pair of eyes, makes me feel happy. No idea how far my skills will take me but I am deeply committed to never stop trying to improve
Dude I did 2 days in the office and I'm fucking exhausted how did I do this 5x a week when I was receptionist LOL
I'm sorry but $20-30 bucks for fast food is insane. That used to be what got you a nice ass dinner. Am I clinging onto the past, are things just never gonna get cheaper while my pay remains the same
I think what makes Blue Archive so fanart friendly is how simple the designs are. Even the more complicated outfits or armor designs can be relatively simplified by the artists, and each character weirdly avoids "same face".
Idk where else to say this but my birthday is always weird to me. It's a combination that I'm glad I lived, relieved I survived, but also guilty I've troubled. I'm not sure! I'll feel less weird tomorrow
Dog I asked a retail employee to help me find an item and they looked at me like I just shat in their sandwich
This is a random confession, but, one day in the city I just got off a shitty day at work where I got yelled at and was in a crappy headspace. A homeless person then asked me for money, I kindly refused, and then started berating me for not giving him money
The people least capable of staying silent really wake up and decide Yeah today's a Library kind of day
People really try to convince me that FF7 Remakes 1/2 are shit and idk I had mad fun playing those games... I even accept its flaws. It's really easy to love something "because", it's genuine to love something "despite".
I think people are too afraid to make mistakes, that one flop will ruin your life forever. And because of that people don't want to learn, so they either cheat or give up
yooO @erikiri.bsky.social send the Haku Reference so I can quote this
Making a one-shot manga is hard... I've rewritten my Uma one shots opening like 10+ times because I want it to hit. I'll get it...!!
I pretty much just use social media for posting art (and even then I post maybe 20% of what I draw). Been focusing on irl stuff, job, friends, family, health. Shit that actually matters. Started journaling whenever I get the itch to doomscroll. Mental health has been phenomenal lately lol
I need some people to realize they are not hobbyists they are shoppers; just buying products to motivate an activity they never do
I'm at that point where I know my art is good but it's not like.. the level I want it to be at. Maybe I'll feel this way forever. Maybe every artist does? So I respect those who can dedicate all their time and focus to getting their art closer and closer to their ideal
I'm so bad at running multiple social medias LOL bsky might just be my WIP or secret cool kids club posts
Life Update: I got promoted! I now Work from Home, make more money, and the team I'm moving onto is regarded as the best, most capable and friendliest team ❤️
One thing I want to do is go out and take environment reference photos for myself but it's far too cold to do that right now lol
