Sounds friendly right? And very considerate? Accessibility is about equitable opportunities. It is about autonomy. And this friendly gesture does not offer more autonomy. Ask yourself: What you do for accessibility, does it improve autonomy? (sorry, I assume your intent was well 💚)
It's often the first thing I test on any website. No technical skills or tools required. When a website opens press the tab-button. A skip-link should appear. (an interactive item stating something like "skip to content") If it doesn't, that's probably a failure of WCAG SC 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks.

Why do people have to ruin perfectly fine and accessible content-driven pages by adding (breathe slowly) very creative menus? (Also, is there a safe-for-work-dictionary where I can enter offensive expletives, and get friendlier alternatives?)
