Oh shit I just remember perspective and orthographic perspectives. Doing CAD I never switched it outta orthographic cause I was doing engineery stuff. Sculpting a face however. All the facial features got much wider lol

Printed off the 2nd ASA one and got them all spaced out. The smaller ones I cut later and shorter (bout half an inch) and still regrowing. This unusable balcony gets tons of sun so may as well use it for something that’s below human body weight. Just ignore that edge lifting on the new lid…

9 green onions in 2 white containers with 6 holes each that they sit in. The containers have a square hole on the side with water visible. It’s on a dirty white stool out in a balcony overlooking a suburb street

It’s crazy that I can print watertight structures. No sprays or special treatment, straight off the bed can hold water and keep a paper towel underneath dry. The ASA box should be done tomorrow morning so I can give each their own space instead of squeezing in 2 in some holes.

Saw an article that apparently NASA was rushed out of their labs and lost millions in lab equipment, some of it one of a kind. That shit don’t just disappear, like physically it’s huge it’d be hard to. Crooked orange bastard probably sold it. We should be star trekking by now god damn it.

Just realized while working on my fursuit skull model that I was only making the antlers to help with visualizing where to put the mounting point, I’m gonna make a blank (bun mode) first anyway so I can get right to a usable head.

On an epic scoot for supplies and toys, had to stop off to take a full length shot of the NASA AMES facility. Love the bay, casually scooting past Microsoft, Google, NASA, countless other big ass corpos

An outside shot of the NASA AMES wind tunnel facility from the west side, building in the way, taken from a trail next to a creek during the dry season so plants that can’t reach the creek or are trees are brown. Clear blue sky day

Speaking of iPhones and Folsom one of the nerdier games master and I play when we go is “spot the new iPhones”. Last year it was easy with the Air, people wearing their phone and nothing else at all.

I wonder. Do the people at the piss play pool at Folsom like, take public transit before cleaning off, like lay a towel down and grin at every look they get? Or do they all live nearby and shower after walking home?

Speaking of apparently pro photo apps on the 17 pro will have a full sliding scale for the aperture between 1.44 and 4. This is why I like Apple, the tech is still in bending real photons, AI camera filters are garbage to be used for fun only if anything.

Ohhhh, tryna decide what color iPhone to get before preorders and saw quad lock will have 3 case colors other than their usual black for the 17 pro. Why did it take this long? These cases are designed for sun exposure and need to dissipate heat, you gonna absorb all that extra?

Was getting ready to leave and saw this slender looking helicopter. Looked like some slender eurocopter or something and yup, Italian. Very quiet considering how low it was, especially compared to twin props.

One helicopter is highlighted showing a low flying path going south over land (mostly, a bit of the marshy bit). Registers N59P type: 2007 AUGUSTA AW-109 Grand DIESEL ACQUISITIONS LLC

Master treated me to fancy Korean BBQ to celebrate 14 years being in the bay with him. Delicious. But I hate how my brain is a 5 year old. Eating delicious red meat. Then learned it was pork belly. Unintentionally did an experiment by going back and forth between 😋 delicious red meat 🤢 belly meat

Do you think the dude who first designed the standard Roman chariot knew how much he was affecting?1435mm is the width of roman chariots, most trains in the world, and hardware that need to be moved said rail like rocket stages. The width some dude was like “yea, works” thousands of years ago.

Speaking of AEMS that one blimp that takes off from Moffett and circles the South Bay waters for a bit is out. I so want to ditch work for an extra long lunch to take pics of it coming in to land. Could prolly make it if I gunned it now.

Just saw a serial number with a WV, like right next to each other no spacing so it looks like 1 solid cursed letter. Could easily be mistaken for VW by human eyes and maybe even optical character recognition in phones. Good ol barcode next to it tho, never doubt the barcode. ALL HAIL THE BARCODE.

I skipped the last iPhone and they upgraded the telephoto, now they got the physical variable aperture on the 17 pro. As my most used camera it’s got me wanting to pull the trigger. Plus a lot more battery which my “no longer constantly plugged into a car” ass needs.

Yay, was able to hit the end of the spool and reload before bed. Was pushing it to 250% speed to get it done cause I knew it didn’t have enough to finish and didn’t want it sitting there with the plate at 80°c the entire night

So cock cages are nylon 3d printed/vapor smoothed to keep it cleaner, less holes for the bacteria to live in. Apparently ASA can also be finished this way. Would that be good for plants? Prolly wouldn’t matter to plants, but plants we’ll smoke n eat? Can I justify a 3 gal vaccume chamber?
