143 days before the big one, I made the year’s first Christmas music montage Especially excited to include Last Christmas since, as we all know, the Whamageddon rules only kick in on 1st Dec

A month ago: I can easily write 100 individual little memories describing an important day in a fiction city Today: … I guess maybe this person’s memory could be feeding the ducks…?

I was lucky (haha) enough to playtest this and had an absolute blast! A mystery that isn’t just one linear thread is an excellent thing

After thinking about it for years, I have finally published a #TTRPG scenario. THE MAN WHO WAS TOO LUCKY is a 'mini-campaign' for Free League's Nordic horror roleplaying game #Vaesen. The Society are contacted by a man who is concerned that everything is great. tools.drivethrurpg.com/product/5262...

We all know I love a playful space, and the sculpture trail at Crich Tramway Museum is actually pure unexpected golddust Wooden games, hidden secrets and interactive sculptures I unashamedly had the time of my life (and was too caught up to take pics of the best ones)

Two wood squirrels sit upon pillars on either side of a path into the woods. To the left is a signpost which reads “this way”, “that way” and “the other way”A photo of a wooden den with a log fireplace and faded cloth prayer flagsA large wooden sculpture of an old oak man figure, partially rotted A sculpture of a wizard on a throne, looking at a book in front of his feet. Erin sits on a comically small chair beside him, gazing in adoration

Next book of 2025 - including my favourite twist in a long time. Faith, trauma and being locked between your parents’ battle between each other. My biggest gripe with it turned out to be a major plot point 50 pages later. Great stuff

The cover of The Saint of Bright Doors by Vajra Chandrasekera. It shows a colourful wooden door again a blue background silhouetted by a cityscape on all sides
