My girlfriend saw me playing Onimusha and asked if it was Bloodborne. Before I could respond, she immediately tried to correct herself: “NEVERMIND. Bloodborne isn’t Japanese—it’s Transylvanian.”

The grocery store is such a grim place these days. Everything is twice as expensive. There’s a nest of flock cameras in the parking lot, 4 c*ps putzing around, but nobody working the register. The self-checkout glitches every 3 items so you’re forced to talk to the mean old lady who oversees them.

My future backlog—and motivation to play GTA6—will depend almost entirely upon how much I suck at Onimusha when it arrives tomorrow.

10 hours in I decided I didn’t want to deal with the stress of looming permadeath in Zero Company. And I found out you can’t turn it off after starting the game. It’ll never happen because my Med Bays are first priority, but the fear is still there, an itch on my amygdala.

Calling it quits and YouTubing the rest of the story on this one. I draw the line at being forced to grind 40 fucking side quests (plus affinity charts) just to finish. Absolutely TRASHED the momentum of the story. The pacing. Absolutely not. I am so disappointed.

Xenoblade 2 is THE most you’re-only-playing-me—got-it? game I’ve played in so long. I’ve been so into it, but being at 75 hours after a week and a half is insane.
