Where to start? After 14+ amazing years of doing truly epic work on the beloved Elder Scrolls franchise (Elder Scrolls Online in specific), today I was among the way-too-large number of employees let go for strategic business reasons. Not sure what's next, but I suppose I'll think of something.
Well, you know, if someone likes me but doesn't like my writing, they don't need to go into *detail* about that part, hopefully they just say, "it's not for me" and leave it at that. It's also useful, for me and others, not to conflate "not for me" with "it's not any good." Two different things!

Daggerheart update: Run a crew through the whole demo, am halfway through with another, and have another on deck next month. In my experience 3 sessions, 2 hours each, is pretty much bang on perfect. Love how each part shows off a different aspect of the game. What a treat. 10/10 will run again.
I need folks to know "classics are classic for a reason" re: creative work is not the great argument you think it is, mostly because it leaves entirely unexamined the *reasons* some things persist in culture, of which "quality," subjective in any event, is only one reason and often not the main one.
There are two wolves inside of me. One wants to immediately start a new #Bloodbourne playthrough and the other wants me to wait to see if maybe finally we get a PC or PS5 remaster.

Spun up a #Daggerheart demo game with a couple of the ESO folks last week and we are hitting our second session tonight. Early experiences very positive. The Demiplane site and the collaborative chargen vibes built into their Session 0s work GREAT. Can't wait to jump back in.
