I don’t know why, but at some point in my life I stopped accurately talking about how stressed and overwhelmed I was. Everyone around seemed “more” like some sort of sick cyclical corporate competition and I bowed out. If I didn’t talk about it, it didn’t exist. Well fuck that. It still exists.

Playing death stranding 2 spoilers (mechanics only): - man I’m a big fan of the dialogue choices. COOL! - wow I am not a fan of the hard cutscene reset let me skip it - WOW certainly not a fan of not being able to go back to the original options - WELL CERTAINLY DID NOT EXPECT TO REDO THE TUT

It has been criminally underreported but Kelsey Pfendler has just rowed solo across the Pacific Ocean from the US coast to Hawaii in record time. A 2,400-mile unsupported journey in 43 days, 17 hours, and 55 minutes. Notably beating the Men’s record by 9 whole days.

After months of pushing myself to perform and produce despite the doubt and the internal pressure, I’m finally playing video games during the day not as an excuse to rest but as a genuine excitement to play. Been a long mental health year ✨

My best advice for any game devs recently laid off is to keep in touch with your closest coworker friends, do a group call at least once a week, share job postings in the chat, hype each other up, and just generally look out for each other.
