Burnout is clinically understood as a combo of 6 factors—work overload, lack of control, insufficient rewards, breakdown in community, absence of fairness, & value conflicts—and only a fraction of it is under your control. Burnout is a systemic problem, so be kind to yourself and hard on the system.

every paper i read about generative AI mentions the limited available data of 3D models as a problem for them yep i'm never going to share another 3d model to a model viewer that could be scraped or bought until AI is dead and buried

Excerpt from a paper on generative 3d: "A significant challenge, however, is the limited availability of 3D assets suitable for model training. Creating 3D content requires specialized skills and expertise, making such assets much scarcer than other visual media like images and videos. This scarcity raises a key research question of how to design scalable models to generate high-quality 3D assets from such data efficiently."

Even after asymptomatic infections. Or "mild" (which doesn't exist with Covid) infections. Health Canada updated their Covid/Long Covid information this summer and it never made it to mainstream media. If you know odds, you'll know these odds are bad. 1 in 5 infections results in LC

Covid informed folks are often branded as annoying. If you also stayed informed on Covid and knew that it is a mass disabling virus that’s made everyone high risk for strokes, cancer, vascular issues, and that causes brain damage and immune system dysfunction, you'd probably want to warn people too

Give yourself 3 months of dedicated art practice AND: - Draw 30-60 min a day minimum - Draw what you love - Surround yourself with creative people - Analyze what is working/not working in your practice - Regularly ask for feedback from peers I guarantee you'll see results. 💪

Reminder that your art doesn’t have to get you anything or have monetary value. You can just make it because you enjoy it and never post it online for engagement dopamine. It can be something that’s yours, for you. Even if you’re the only person who likes it, It can be just as important if others do
