Found out in #MathsToday that Cambridge have announced that they will now use both the TMUA *and* STEP for entry to the Mathematical Tripos from 2027 which follows Oxford’s decision to swap MAT for TMUA last month. #ALevelMaths teachers take note, source here: www.christs.cam.ac.uk/study-here/u...

Oxford is switching from MAT to TMUA for Maths, Computer Science, and joint honours, as part of a wider move to UAT-UK tests. See www.maths.ox.ac.uk/r/tmua for info and resources. As you can imagine, our website says MAT in lots of places, please bear with us as we change them all to TMUA! ^James

More TMUA preparation material. Slide to show various logical equivalents. I always turn "A only if B" into something else from this page that my brain finds easier to process, like "A implies B". It might help students who get stuck with deciding about necessary and sufficient conditions, etc.
