The EU’s Entry/Exit System enters into force today. The EES is a new automated border security system which applies to non-EU citizens. ✈️If you travel to a Schengen country for a short stay you'll be required to register your biometric data upon entry/exit. ℹ️ travel-europe.europa.eu/ees

The EU’s Entry/Exit system will gradually enter in force from 12 October. It applies to short stay travellers from all third countries. The system will make our borders more secure, which will benefit our partners, including the UK.
