The Tiny Citadel "It is known that many clans of the sharkfolk are small in stature, but only in the depths do the little ones dwell, for the ruins pushed to the surface reveal just how tiny their citadels are, delicate structures carved from the darkness." #Shark #Sharkfolk

In a submerged volcanic cave, a blue shark explorer and photographer takes a picture of the ruins of a little Aphotean citadel. The citadel was probably pushed by tectonic forces into the euphotic zone caused by an ancient eruption, which forced its inhabitants to abandon it. Despite this, the marine fauna thrives in its surroundings.

The structures carved into the submerged rock have peculiar cylindrical shapes, adorned with intricate reliefs and circular holes that appear to have served as doors and windows. Given the scale of the buildings, archaeologists suspect that they belonged to the enigmatic dwarf Aphoteans (descendants of the lantern sharks - Etmopteridae).
