The EUVIP dissemination workshop with ICDS kicked off in Tallinn, Estonia. In the Indo-Pacific, the EU faces increasing pressure. @euvip.bsky.social head Alfred highlighted the need for more military commitment, listening to the region & deeper ties with like-minded partners.
The 3rd speech, by Paul O’Shea, warned that the US–Japan alliance is being eroded under Trump’s 2nd term. He highlighted the rise of Sanseito, echoing Trump with “Japan First,” nuclear ambitions & foreign policy independence, as a challenge too important to ignore.
