A sad Old Friend update: Former #Rockies right-handed pitcher Germán Márquez has been designated for assignment by the San Diego Padres. Márquez put up a 5.26 ERA over 13 appearances with the Padres this season.

The #Rockies have released right-handed reliever John Brebbia from the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes.
The #Rockies have selected the contract of left-handed reliever Parker Mushinski from Triple-A ABQ. Mushinski has a 3.38 ERA over 48 innings and 32 appearances with the Isotopes this season. He will wear 67, the third player in team history to do so and the first since Germán Márquez in 2016.
It's official! The #Rockies have signed OF/DH Mickey Moniak to a two year, $16.25 million extension. The move buys out his final year of arbitration and first year of free agency. The Rockies decide to keep a stabilizing locker room presence for their rebuild at a reasonable price.
Brenton Doyle will make his White Sox debut today. He's starting in center field and batting seventh in the order. Good luck, Brenton!
