Candidate for US Congress in GA-13. Fmr Gwinnett School Board Chair

2 weeks until Election Day. 🗳️ For months, we’ve been having conversations, showing up, and building this campaign one person at a time. The next 14 days are about keeping that momentum going and making sure voters know about this election. 10 days left of early voting!

I’m officially launching my campaign for the special election because I believe we can build a district where housing is affordable, healthcare is accessible, schools are fully funded, and families aren’t stretched thin just trying to get by.

I’m proud to have the endorsement of Peace Action. They understand that global conflicts require sustained, long-term solutions. Together, we’re working toward an approach rooted in human rights and stronger cooperation with the global community.

I’m proud to have the endorsement of my friend, State Senator Rashaun Kemp. As an educator and the first openly gay man elected to the GA State Senate, Senator Kemp knows exactly what it means to break barriers and fight for progress. Together, we’ll keep fighting. Thank you, brother!

As the proud son of Jamaican immigrants, I’m honored to be endorsed by @nalactionfund.bsky.social ! Immigrant families like my own have long been pivotal in shaping this country’s history. I’m proud to carry that legacy forward as I fight to build a stronger, more inclusive GA-13!

We’re excited to endorse @evertonblair.bsky.social for Georgia’s U.S. House of Representatives, 13th District! 🎉 Through his leadership empowering immigrants and teachers, Blair has given his community the tools they need to succeed. If elected, he would become the first out LGBTQ+ Congressperson!

Congress rubber-stamped a cast of clowns to serve as the cabinet all but ensuring the 25th amendment would never be invoked on a President we knew was unfit from the start. Our best path forward is to toss out this Congress and get a new one. 1/2

We're told universal healthcare is "too expensive" while the US spends $1 billion a day on war overseas... It's a choice. The money exists. It comes down to priorities. And right now they're not prioritizing us.

The urgency for change in GA-13 is of regional interest. That's why I'm proud to have the endorsement from leaders on Atlanta's City Council. When I go to Congress, I will bring these important partnerships with me. The only way we get out of this mess is by fighting for a better future together.
