This Saturday, not only do we have the usual excellent array of stalls at our Heritage Centre (open 12-2:30pm), we also have Simon Hart with us (1-2pm) selling copies of his brilliant new biography of Mike Lyons. Do call in - access is via Fulton Street.

Born on this day in 1933, Jimmy Harris. The Birkenhead lad succeeded Dave Hickson as the Toffees’ number nine. Famed for his electric pace, he went on to play for Birmingham City. In later life, he was a regular attendee at Goodison Park for matches & EFCFPF functions.

Our matchday Heritage Centre will be open on Saturday prior to the Lille match. Most of the stalls will be there. We’ll also be open, as usual, before the season’s opener on 22 August, with the bonus of a book signing session bySimon Hart for his new Mike Lyons biography.
