I finished knitting a little shawlette, as sometimes you just need something to throw on to feel comfy, even in the summer. 🧶 #shawlknitting #knitsky #allthingsyarn #showmeyourknits #justknitting

Always a good day out. Norwich Lanes never disappoints.
Please enjoy this little yarn bombed post box cover. Spotted in Ely recently.
Test knitter...reporting for duty. Limited experience but very enthusiastic.
I don't spend all my time knitting. Sometimes I crochet too 🤣
If this new Instagram account doesn't sum up the state of play in the UK right now, I don't know what does. 31k people all watching to see a tiny patch of dead grass be brought back to life 🤣 www.instagram.com/makethegrass...

I wanted to share a few of the beautiful (and perfectly fitting) sweaters our Sweater Society knitters have created over the past year. 🥰 We’ll soon be reopening for another year. Get notified here: stolenstitches.com/products/swe...
A friend just shared an app with me called DeepStash - it says it helps to reduce doom scrolling. I took a look and was horrified to see it is essentially AI summaries of books in it's database. Whatever happened to skim reading? Now we just get an app to spit out bite sized snippets.
Today's Substack post - writing about ways that I am slowing down and trying to appreciate August. I do miss my duvet though open.substack.com/pub/everyday...
The older I get the more I understand why cats just walk away mid conversation.
Have you ever seen a Dinky Door? Tiny whimsical works of art that are hidden in plain sight around Cambridge. This was a new find to me today, near Waterstones. There are around 11 or 12 I think around the city and spotting one always makes my day.
Are the books the last form of entertainment that don't come with ads? They aren't trying to sell you something else. They don't need an app or a subscription. You just buy it and read it. Job done!

Six months update on my Temperature Blanket - I'm knitting a tiny square every day in 2026 with the colour assigned to a series of temperature ranges. I'm so pleased with how it looking.
If I started this now I might be finished by next Christmas
I am sooo slow at double knitting, but this is tempting. Dark Woods scarf is new from Monstra & Mirabilia. The motifs on the chart are from European folklore & the chart includes the option to have a young witch on one side and an old witch on the reverse. #knitsky www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
Yay. My verification is complete and I can post here. Prepare for lots of knitting, cats and coffee.
