Our 16yo tabby cat Jago has advanced chronic kidney disease. I've been spending a lot of time with him, and we've been to the urgent care vet, and his normal vet. BUNs and phosphorus are highly elevated. He is getting antibiotics, subq IV, and he got some anti-nausea meds.

Celebrated my 15th anniversary with @evilmirage.bsky.social. We went to the Sea Life aquarium to do the stamp rally and had dinner at Norigami in Winter Garden. I've been wanting to try an omakase and this was the best sushi we've ever had. I'm so glad this place is local so we can enjoy it again.
Doing a little upgrade to the Ryzen 9950X3D on my desktop - that will leave me with a 7950X3D that will then become my home server's main processor.

Another amazing #MidwestFurfest moment was seeing my best friend and their wife who has always been fandom adjacent to furry. This was the first time the stars aligned, and we were able to catch up in person after years.
Every year there are 5 MFF staff members who are recognized for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. This year, I was ever so fortunate to be one of the 5 staff members to receive this MFF service award! I was COMPLETELY surprised, and I broke down with happy tears! 😭
I forgot to post this earlier, but it's crazy to me how this anemone just kinda decided to stretch out and seemingly double it's size.
Kazi wanted a Build-a-Bear giant Chococat, which led us on a black Friday adventure that somehow ended up with us buying a nexus 50/50 bubble tip anemone and a zoa colony rock at a local aquarium store for our saltwater tank.
Turkey is in the brine until about 1-2am, and then I'm gonna switch over to a dry brine.
Fyrefang / @slashsabercat.bsky.social was the very first fur I ever met in the fandom, and the first fur I met IRL. I wouldnt be in this fandom if it weren't for him. Words can't describe how devastated I am to hear of his passing today. RIP friend. My heart goes out to @sodders.bsky.social
