Amnesty International ends their apology screed with this quote "AIUK remains fully committed to defending the human rights, dignity, and equality of all marginalised groups, including women, girls, and members of the trans community." Get fucked.
Amnesty International; a group that purports to fight for human rights has taken down their publication: “A growing threat: the anti-rights movement in the UK.” and apologized to the groups listed. This comes 4 days after their boss offered to meet "Sex Matters" after a trans rights row.
It's beyond shameful to see how quickly Amnesty International, an organization that purports to fight for human rights and stand against facism, caved to the demands of a single, hateful individual. If standing up for trans rights is too "costly" for you, then you're not an ally, you're a coward.
