I watched the first four episodes last night. This might be the best TV or movie Joker since Heath Ledger? …and the worst version of Riddler ever. Wild that this show has AWESOME new versions of D-listers like Roxy Rocket and Blockbuster (poor Dez!), but a Riddler with no intellect or charisma!?

GOT ‘IM #RollCredits on Triangle Strategy Very entertaining strategy RPG wearing its Ogre influences on its sleeve. Good characters, good maps, good unique systems, and a pretty compelling story with multiple paths and endings. Real damn good. (Strongly considering going right into New Game+)
Weekend gaming plans! -beat Triangle Strategy -start up a new RPG or action game I think I might replay the beginning(s) of God of War 2018 and Zelda Majora’s Mask again. Would be the 3rd or 4th time. For both.

Missed the podium at trivia last night. We were in 3rd place going into the final but got it wrong and ended up 4th or 5th. A few missed connections included the Jimi Hendrix album Electric Ladyland, the helmets of the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers, and the national flags of Cyprus and Kosovo.

Weekend gaming plans! -play more Triangle Strategy I’m locked in. Triangle Strategy is far gentler than Tactics Ogre and most Fire Emblem(s), but does a lot of strategy RPG things very well and I like the characters. That goes a long way.
Bad luck at trivia last night. We missed a few key questions early on, but had a strong second half. I think we were in 10th at the halfway mark and ended up in 4th. A couple of our misses included Stephen King’s pen name Richard Bachman and Panic! At the Disco’s song “Vegas Lights.”
I am in hell. Just found a really nice hole in the wall barbecue joint that is half Texas, half Korean. It closes down this weekend. Hell.

I have no idea who the final boss of this game will be. Everyone looks evil AF except for the hero’s group. (The three below each work for a different rival nation)

I saw The Odyssey yesterday, and I have mixed feelings about it. -it’s more an exploration of Odysseus’s character than a retelling of The Odyssey. There’s a lot of Iliad and a lot of “law of Xenia/hospitality” in it. -my favorite performance was (somehow) John Leguizamo. He was really good!
GOT ‘IM #RollCredits on Dark Souls II This one was sometimes excellent, sometimes massively frustrating. A few segments took me a bunch of tries, and I’m not eager to do all the optional challenges. I beat 37 out of 41 bosses. That’s enough.

Finished 3rd at bar trivia last night. A couple unlucky draws and we were behind for the final question. A few of our bricks included former Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer, New York’s Adirondack Mountains, and Mary Poppins author P. L. Travers.

I really, really want to read these Superman comics (inspired by the 1996 animated series, written by Mark Millar and others), but they're not on the DCU Infinite app. They *are* collected in two large compendium volumes. (Why are my hobbies so expensive?)
