Not even nostalgia, but whenever I look at a "pure" website from the early web, I can feel my blood pressure drop. Form follows function. Things are where you expect them to be. It's designed to do a thing, not keep you engaged. And my limbic system can tell inside a second.

🔞 Nyrocidae@nyrocidae.bsky.social · 3mo agoI always try to word my horny desiring posts as that: desires. "I WANT to do-" "I NEED to do-" vs "I WISH I could-" "Why CAN'T i-" It's a subtle difference but it's there. Ones an aspiration and a goal compared to self pity and longing.
This hasn't been a me problem lately but i've had several friends in this situation lately. "I'd do anything to xyz-" "I'm glad someone's having fun. :(" "I wish someone would just-" You are saying the magic words that make yourself completely and utterly unfuckable! Stop it for better results.
PSA if you mope about how no one will play with you... What you're functionally doing is guilting the other party into playing. These small moments of coercion erode the foundation of trust required to do kink. You are showing you're not safe. You're not opening a door - you're putting up a wall.
I think the takeaway is that not all minors are puritans but the ones who are have been tricked into believing that queer sexuality is deviant and shouldn't be allowed to be visible by folks showing them content they shouldn't be seeing to upset them.

They shouldn't be into that stuff yet" but they totally gloss over the fact that they also shouldn't even have an opinion on that stuff yet let alone super conservative ones.
Y’know, Oregon has a particular way of dealing with things that have beached themselves and died…
