Hi I am Ferrostratus “Exception.exe” Ironside. CompVi VTuber for @inttv.org. Hosted the Rubicon Fight Club. Made Opus Magnum puzzle Verdigris Glaze. Hacking your wires since 19121. Other things I'll think of later.

Unsolicited Minecraft Ramble Thread Time c: For some reason I've often been drawn to creating alternative methods of communication in Minecraft. When tinkering with stuff I end up trying to use what I make to encode or convey something.

A Minecraft screenshot of one of Exception's Redstone testing worlds. There are many tests and machines strewn about the flat landscape, no single one really sticking out. Some in the distance use a lot more wool than the closer ones.

After about 3 months, I've now successfully beaten Hit Video Game Antimatter Dimensions. Overall good times, though probably a danger to your productivity.

Sometimes (like now) I wonder how streaming can be relaxing and yet recording can be so stressful. I have done streams for long hours on important things without feeling any discomfort and yet something that should take me less than a minute can paralyze me for an entire day. It hurts :c

My Counter-Strike 2 stream thumbnails slightly alter my "use stuff from the stream" system of taking a frame from the vod by instead taking screenshots from the match replay files. This makes them harder to create, but also gives me the flexibility to take pretty shots.

A CT-player is passing through the doors cautiously, while Exception on T-team is hidden next to the door aiming a shotgun at the unaware first player.A screenshot from Counter-Strike 2 of Mirage's Balcony area. A T-player wields a painted AK-47 staring vigilantly towards the right, while Exception on CT-team walks to the edge of Balcony with a shotgun aimed at the first player's backA screenshot from Counter-Strike 2 of Dust 2's Short A area. Three T-team bodies are sprawled on the floor. In the far distance at Site A, Exception on CT-team looks towards Short A ready to snipe any additional trespassersA screenshot from Counter-Strike 2 of Dust 2's Outside Long area. Exception on T-team casually drops a flaming Molotov on the area immediately in front of him, to land at the first of the Long Door doors.

I'm learning that having multiple projects where I need to wait on something/someone else to continue is convenient because I can work on my parts of one plan while waiting for my parts on other plans. This also helps me spend less time worrying waiting between parts since I have something to do.
