The Museum was founded in 2018 with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Overseen by the ECFC Museum Trust (registered charity number: 1180297) our aim is to preserve and share the history and heritage of the football club.
On this day in 1908 Andy McGuigan scores his first goal for city in the 3-2 home win v Norwich 1982 Exeter FC turned in their worst display of the season a 2-2 draw at home to Frome in the WWL. Exeter stay unbeaten at the top of the league thanks to goals from Penny Wilson and Annie Hesketh.
On this day in:- 1930 Stan Barber makes his city debut in a 3-0 defeat at home to Bristol Rovers 1977 A Richard Key penalty save earns City a vital point at Peterborough. 1978 Exeter LFC lost 15-0 at Warminster. 2022 Jay Stansfield makes his full debut for Exeter
On this day in:- 1953 Exeter City play a friendly against a Trinidad Touring XI. 1964 Peter Shearing makes his home debut in a 1-0 defeat v Shrewsbury 1988 Dick Pym passed away, aged 95 1998 Death of Ian Main, ex-city goalkeeper who made 78 appearances between 1978 and 1982. He was 38 years old.

On this day in:- 1964 Peter Shearing, makes his city debut in the 2-1 away win against Luton. 2017 Substitute Jayden Stockley struck a last-gasp winner as City saw off Barnet at The Hive. It was Stockley's first goal since his return and secured all three points in the Capital.
On this day in 1963 George Ley makes debut for city in a in league 1-0 home win over Carlisle. A game which also sees Arnold Mitchell make his 400th appearance for City.
On this day in 1938. Exeter City accomplised a useful performance in holding the powerful Reading side to a draw at Elm Park this afternoon, and they were full value for their point. The weather was summerlike, and the pitch in beautiful condition.
