I'll admit that I occasionally watch Forged in Fire (a reality show where people make edged weapons under time pressure—don't judge 😄). One of the things I find particularly interesting is how the contestants continually make the same mistakes that brought down contestants in previous shows. 1/9

Despite being a pretty decent cook and baker, I cannot meal plan at all. I hate every bit of it. I don’t want to be locked into making things on specific days. I’m lucky if I have a vague idea of what I’m cooking each week. I don’t know how people do that for a whole month.
