I have returned from the near-Canadian wilderness w/ two things to share: Our ("our") lake is a loon habitat. Did you know loons, unlike other birds, have solid bones, not hollow? So when they dive they can go incredibly far. But that means they're heavier than other birds and suck at flying....
First day back at the pool and Jesus Christ, I cannot face a whole summer of this....
Nobody talk to me; I'm on a three-day work trip. Yes, I am working 12-hour days but you know what I am NOT doing? Cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, driving anyone anywhere, or responding to sentences like "Mom, I need a blue skirt for the band concert -- it's tonight!"
