Everyday now i am pondering i should get separate blogs for separate fandoms on tmblr, just to archive drawings i have only posted on twtr before. I don’t trust tmblr yet, but where else can one post stuff that is not short form social media? where are people archiving their art?
HOTD: I would watch a whole episode of just Gwayne, Daeron and Ormund. Please.
Harrenhal is like the Otranto of fanfiction character development and analysis.
and the character designs are so analogous to old school josei/bl conventions. the luscious long hair and costume colour coding despite the tendency towards hbo's "dark and gritty" look... it's an anime adaptation To Me!!!
right! i haven't had time to catch up with/watch either yet so i can't comment on the updates (so... tempting...) but you are so right! i love how it leans into the drama and the surreal/prophetic/subconscious, imo you can imagine certain sequences done with abstract black bg double-page spreads lol
HOTD: I was prepared to have no opinion about Ormund and was I so wrong. The scenes between him and Daeron are some of my favourites.
