Oh, hey I've been here before! As a teenager. How the many different lives drift by.
I mean, that's not that bad. Pretty decent.
Ugh! Who answers a phone call in the bathroom?!! Let that go to voicemail, man. That's just gross and weird.
Remember when buffett style restaurants had the van/ choc/ swirl ice cream machines? You could load it up with all kinds of toppings, caramel, fudge... They probably still do that but I haven't made my own sundae in at least a decade
Sassafras sounds like a made up tree in some Lewis Carrol novel.
they used to make root beer with an ingredient called sassafras (safrole) but it got banned by the fda. i swear i remember getting some as a kid and it was way better. some people do have recipes on yt for making it with herbs & sassafras
Yeah, don't get that thing wet. Or feed it after midnight.
Basil the day he came home
When is the last time you played this? I am not very good at it but c'mon that's solid entertainment
Cool. I'm in another hotel with a malfunctioning fire alarm that has been going off randomly for 2 hours now. Has anyone ever heard the fire alarm go off anywhere and thought "uh oh, we should flee to safety" It's like car alarms and boys crying wolf. You're just messing it up for when we need it
Me, when the bartenders and waitstaff start mopping the floors and putting chairs up on the tables: I'm finishing my drink.
I was going to just make a joke about "they make double stuffed oreos, why can't you get double icing Toaster Strudel" and googled it and holy hell what is wrong with you?
I don't remember my high school guidance counselor even offering up "international jewelry and artwork thief" as an option.
Overheard at the latest orgy at the senior care center.
I love the ball blower. I was jiggling my fingers in the blower every time.
I'm not sure how to properly use zeitgeist, but I imagine it applies to anyone getting a Jimothy tattoo.
Few things in life are greater than those moments you REALLY need to pee or poop and you finally make it to a toilet.
*ponders* I've been using clothespins as bag clips for chips, pretzels, and cereal bags for as long as I can remember. I don't think I've ever used one to secure laundered clothing to a clothesline to dry in my entire life.
I think when the scientists mapped the human genome they left out some core criteria that needs to be further examined. For instance, "is this person a dick?" Search for that RNA sequence.
I mean, the whole "pee into a metal trough filled with ice next to 50 strangers* thing DOES significantly cut down on wait lines for men's restrooms in concert, sporting events. Women, just sayin'.
Pretty sure I just pooped out a marble I swallowed in the 4th grade. Which is weird because I did the endo/ colonoscopy thing like 3 years ago. How the hell did they miss that? Way to go, dipshit doctors.
There are just too many too keep track of. It's just too much. Hell, one guy I only remember because he had a cartoonishly large Resse's PB Cup coffee mug. No idea what THAT guy did/ does.
Bluesky is handy when you need to know the current price of low sodium vegetable broth and bulk packages of Nerds candies across 25 random cities/ states. It's pretty useful.
Are there teams of engineers, designers, etc. working on what to do about all of the gas pumps that aren't built to accept a digit in the 10's column? Like Y2K rollouts and those frantic efforts? Hope they work fast and are quick and easy to implement in the field Tic toc
My battery bank thing that I travel with, when fully charged, can charge my cell from 42% to 53% before it dies. It weighs twice as much as my phone does.
