Born in a test tube, raised in a cage.

Former president Jimmy Carter did, in fact, build houses for the homeless. One need only look at what conservative Christians said about him to know that this entire meme is absolute horseshit.

My day started with one of my dogs having diarrhea. Then I got a call from the hospital's home health services dept (for my wife) and it sounded like they were on a cell phone in a bunker. I had her call me back from a landline, but couldn't easily understand her due to her heavy accent. Sigh.

How about running on issues that materially improve people's lives, rather than trying to make us think that monuments to dead presidents and big egos are what really matters?

Yesterday I made my first trip to Seattle in 9 years and it was as much of a white-knuckle experience as it was all those years ago. People driving 10 MPH under the limit in the left lane. People driving 10 to 15 MPH over the limit in every lane they can. Crotch rockets roaring by at 90 MPH. Insane.

Did anyone really think that John Fetterman was actually doing his job? The first fucking item on his to-do list should have been delivering for the people who elected him, and yet he's done everything he can to alienate them to curry favor with fascists. OF COURSE he isn't doing his job.

Want to talk about WA’s vote-by-mail system? It was put to the ultimate test and earned a perfect score. 50,451 ballots were manually recounted in Whatcom County after a State Senate primary was decided by 4 votes. The results were a 100% match. No lost votes. No fraud. No scams.

My wife is in the hospital. She had major abdominal surgery. She's high on Dilaudid and scaring me. She sent me a 0:27 video of her foot with multiple alarms going off and no explanation. Then she clarifies that no one is responding to those alarms. Then DEAD SILENCE for 50:00. 😂

You've heard of comfort food? Well, I have comfort movies. When I am stressed - as I am now - I will often turn to some cheesy old sci-fi from the 50s and 60s. It's what I grew up with, long before the real-world problems of adulthood and middle-age started to bite me in the ass.
