Forgot to post it here but I wrote another flash piece for COS' latest Warhammer fiction contest. Excited to share that my entry 'TRACHINIAE' was selected as the top entry! This was one where I felt like all the parts were arranged meticulously and it feels good to learn readers / judges enjoyed it.

Just finished Pretenders myself and I think it’s my favorite thing I’ve read in a very long time. I had a sense for where the story might go, but @aptshadow.bsky.social always manages to surprise in the best way.
