at the start of 2025 there was a harsh transition from me only listening to electronic to only listening to anything from the 60s-80s and it really made me start to love music again. i think im more in it for the chords & groove than the crazy sound design (usually)
i tried using another kick drum and it was cool but then i went back to the old one and immediately i feel better about the song. (but also im probably just shit at choosing other kick drums atp)
one of these days, we (all of us) will break through the furry music mold. and when that happens our tastefully strange sounds will blindside everyone. our constituents will militarize and spam our shit on every forum ever. there will be no more flavor of the week, we will make real money for once.

while watching the mc movie a few weeks ago i was genuinely getting some napoleon dynamite vibes in some of the jokes and only now im figuring out its the same fucking director this shit is crazy
furthemore has been so good the smaller con vibe with everyone being shoved into the same hotel makes socializing so much easier. it's such a difference from anthrocon, i really loved it
