โTime to wrap myself up in a few layers and get the fire built.โ
โNot until after my dinner.โ She grinned at him, flashing too many teeth. Although, not quite as many as he had. โThe mischief will guide us, eh?โ Magic was like that sometimes. What goes around comes back around and all that.
Something magical happened, something that never really happened. And it was sparkles shining in his eyes. โI might just fucking kiss you.โ โOh, Iโm one hundred fuckinโ percent eating their priceless garbageโ
โBy rage room do you mean break into some rich twatโs house and break their stuff and maybe eat them?โ
โFuck yeah, Iโm down with that! Goddamn rich people shit like thatโฆyou know, I think Iโll eat them too. All ironic then or some shit.โ โWanna go to a rage room?โ
โPlate smashing levels of destruction.โ โFancy plates.โ โThe kind with wee, fancy flowers painted on them.โ
-Rob- โIf that isnโt my fuckinโ life in a nutshell. What kind of problem? Like, how violent are we talking?โ
โMibbe thatโs why Iโve been crabbit these past few days. Iโm thirsting for a drink of blood.โ
โIs it, aye?โ โThatโs no tae say that ye cannae bleed, eh?โ And a soft little growl It had been a while since sheโd given into her desires.
"Don't ye threaten me with fun and games, missy, it's hard to make us Shadows bleed"
โUnless weโre tearing out yer throat.โ A grin.
"Ye faes, always so charmin'..."
Just seems like a waste. Dribbling it into a glass.
Lurker agrees with her.
โI like some blood, anaw.โ โStraight from the throat though, I donโt know why youโd drink it from a glass.โ
"I don't need your help!" a blind witch from A Discovery of Witches sees folks via their energy/magic weaver - maker of spells fiercely independent sassy into the #TARDIS
When is he not going through it? She eyes him, then dishes out a bowl of stew, and finds a bottle of some amber liquid from somewhere. Itโll burn his throat, but that doesnโt usually stop him. โHere. Eat.โ The bowl and bottle are passed over. -
He'll limp over, looking like he'd been through the wringer more than once. A soft grunt is let out as he sits down nearby against the trunk of a tree.
Around with a fire going and a pot of stew bubbling away. Like sheโd been waiting for him. โJoin me, Witcher.โ
Geralt wonders if @faeotheisles.bsky.social is around?
If Ailsa ever finds out that the Auld Git has harmed both of her wee pals, thereโs going to be trouble.
โI donโt like the state all this has you in. What has that man done to you?โ This is why she hated the Stewardโs sort. She knew them too well. Had once, long ago, lived under their rule and suffered at their whims. โYou seem hungry. Are you hungry?โ
Pippin breathes a sigh of relief. He bows in his haste and nervousness too, since heโs been bowing so often since coming to Gondor. โThank you my ladyโฆ I โ I will vouch for you, if you get into trouble! But pleaseโฆ I donโt wish to see you in trouble.โ
Ever heard a raven laugh? Itโs a deep, quick series of โhaw haw hawโs. With a few more flaps of her wings. But the Fae isnโt hanging around to be trapped in a room if the foolish old man remembers that windows can be closed. She takes flight, soaring out the window, still cawing. Still laughing.
โN-no!!โ The fearful old man yells terribly, scared witless of ill portents. He gathers up his robes, yelling for the guards once again. โBoromir would not let this happen! Go back to Mithrandir and tell him I have no need of his tricks, foul beast!โ
She snorted out her breath, letting it turn to a growl. โCruel and stupid.โ The words were spat. โThe worst combination in someone with a hint of power.โ But sheโd not make her Hobbit-friend suffer because she had a hangover. โAwriteโฆ Iโll no eat him. For your sake.โ
"I know! I know how strong you are," Pippin agrees, his voice starting to shake in desperation. "B-but that is the Steward! And I have sworn my loyalty to him recently. Gandalf thinks he will help us still... but I fear he may be cruel."
Worse than a witch. Much, much worse. The raven bounced from foot to foot, head darting to watch the old man. A glance at the window, over to the door. Ravens can talk. They can mimic speech and sounds just as well as a parrot. And the Fae-Raven could hold entire conversations. -
Denethor cried out as he was pushed back, toppling over as easily as a leaf pushed by a child. He cowers as the raven appears, his fear growing. It must be an ill omen, for a girl to turn into a bird....! "Witch!" he hisses, then unsteadily rises. "GUARDS! GUARDS! Come quick! Where are my sons?!" +
There was no warning from her, no dance of magic or anything else. Just a leap. One moment there was a woman, the next it was a wolf that jumped at him. Two front pas upon his chest to knock him back. And before he had a chance to react to that, black wings swept at his faces -
"Then we shall see how you fare after a few nights in the cells. Guards!"
She eyed the Hobbit, her hands on her hips and her face on a scowl. Her mind had brought up old memories from long ago and now she felt a rage bubbling up. โOh will he, aye? Iโve been locked in a castle dungeon before, ye ken. And I tore it down around those who put me there.โ
"That is the Steward!! Of Gondor, my lady!! He... he is very powerful. He will not hesitate to lock you up!"
โMy tongue does as it pleases. And if it feels like committing itself to some wagging of the slanderous nature, then itโll do just that. No man nor beast will stop it.โ
"No. And I would caution you to keep your tongue between your lips, lest you are of a mind to get thrown in the dungeons for slander."
โHow?โ A beat. โI mean why.โ Apparently sheโd woken up and chosen violence today.
"NO NO NO NO. ah. eh. Don't let him hear you say that....!"
โDunno. You just look like a guy I met once who had his sons fed to him.โ โBeen eating any meat pies recently?โ
"My sons are dearer to me than anything else in this world.... who gave you this ridiculous idea?"
โShould eat the miserable auld git?โ
"Ah, my lady, um..... perhaps you...."
โIs that the old guy who had his sons fed to him?โ
She let his horn go and offered him the bottle of wine after taking a mouthful of it. โI suppose it depends on what someone might be grabbing them for.โ
Asphodel leaned to the side, almost as if he was used to being grabbed by his horns. "Handlebars. Curious way to call them-"
โItโs woody.โ She shrugs, the bottle of wine in one hand and the other reaching to wrap around one of his horns. โIโve always admired those handlebars of yours. Theyโre very cleaver, arenโt they?โ
"Always the bleedin' cinnamon's fault" Naturally he agrees. It's hard to resist such an invitation, especially coming from the fae.
