Got a used Tamron 18-270 EF-S lens last week. Been wanting to try a telephoto lens for my Canon R7 for the last 11 months and while it's a little soft past 200mm, I'm still happy to have it for my photography hobby to capture wildlife/nature and sky photos. 😁

First time in my life that I left a bowl of birds seeds out and a bowl of water for the nearby sparrows. None of the birds visited the backyard, I may need to swap the bowls out for a proper birdfeeder. :-\Sparrow perching on top of one of my neighbor's garage. No editing, I just took the JPEG file straight from my Canon camera (so I appologize if the image is a little soft).Sparrow perching on the nearby power lines. I zoomed the Tamron lens in to it's maximum focal length of 270mm.Not my first time taking pictures of the moon, but I wanted to see how far I could zoom in and magnify the moon with my Tamron 18-270 lens.

My pair of Moondrop Kato IEMs (that I've had since Nov. 2022) finally kicked the bucket. Granted, I've dropped these babies a few times, but I kept them safe in pockets or bags most of the time and the metal shells have held up. These used to be my daily drivers with Spinfit tips. 🥲

It was stiff feeling, liked to keep its shape, and didn't have an inline microphone. The IEMs' also had short nozzles which made it difficult for them to stay in my ears.Close-up picture of the left IEM. The piece of plastic surrounding the 2-pin connector finally broke on Wed. Pictures from tonight's CTA Holiday train on the Purple Line to Howard. This was the first year I spotted the CTA operators dressing up in fursuits for the train ride. Pictures are from both me and my mom. 😁🎄

I finally had a chance this weekend to go to Vintage Computer Festival Midwest for the first time. Got to meet a couple YouTubers (LGR and The 8Bit Guy) and I can also now say I've played a TouHou game. I was unsure how large the convention would be this year but by 3pm, it was packed to the brim. 😁

Got to finally see the new CTA Red Line station at Argyle, which actually opened on July 20, 2025. I'm liking the exterior facade and accessibility features so far. It also feels wider than the temporary stations that used to be in operation for the past few years. 😁 🟥🚇

Went thrift shopping today, can't believe I found a 20Q Music: Rock and Pop trivia game for $5. It's been a few years since I last played with a 20Q game. I used to have a red version of the original 20Q ball, but I lost it years ago. It might be somewhere around my parents house. 🤷🏻

Redeemed the free 1 year subscription to MLB.TV a couple days ago through the T-Life app. This is my first time watching Baseball games via MLB.TV. I was hoping to watch the White Sox play on Opening Day but... there's both a blackout restriction and MLB.TV is currently down. 😓

Still in college as an ECE student, but at least I turned 22 last week. 🥳 Went out for Korean BBQ food this weekend with my family. It was an... interesting experience, great food and customer service.

Korean Barbeque food laid out on a dinner table. There were several appetizer plates to begin with, including Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Radishes, Mung Bean Jelly, Cabbages, and more. There's also a tray of Beef Brisket slices that the waitresses were happy to grill for us.We also ordered Ribs with vegetables, a Dumpling Hot Pot dish, and two Bimbibap dishes with beef. The complementary drink was corn tea. Not my favorite drink, but there were also other alternatives to choose from in the menu from water to soda to alcoholic drinks such as fruit flavored Soju.

First post on Blue Sky I bought these Wild Fable logan boots off eBay last week. I'm not sure why the wide sizes aren't available at Target stores, but I got lucky and found someone selling a pair of size 11W boots. Didn't realize they would be heavy, but I love the built in insulation.
