With fewer than 2000 words to go to reach my goal, I feel very much the hare napping just shy of the finish line! Will my return to work overtake me while I rest?

I love the way books bloom in my mind. They always start with a powerful moment. Then, it's a scene that grows into one chapter, two chapters, three-- more and more, a swirling mess of ideas until they find their places in the narrative. Sometimes, it happens so fast my pen can't keep up! I love it!
Sometimes all it takes is asking if you can even write dystopian for an idea for a fun little dystopian romp to appear, half-formed, in your head...
