Growing up, people tell you not to step on cracks "or you'll break your mother's back". Not one for superstition, so never bothered me. Today at work, got to looking at seams in the tile and briefly imagined them as micro/nano highways. Accidentally stepped on one 3 minutes later. Felt horrible. 😅

Nifty thing I got delivered last night. A necklace about the price of a nice swiss watch cozz'a all the fiddly wee mechanical bits. I'm always losing my tinies all over the place, at least this way I'll know exactly where my little pals are when I want em...

Bit of an informal poll thing, but what are some of your favorite settings/scenarios for sizey interactions? And do you like situations where the disparity between sizes is already baked in (aka people are already macro/micro) or do you prefer being there live for size change to happen? 1/5

The anxiety I feel when I assert what I imagine is even the most reasonable boundary (they ALL feel unreasonable/like I'm a killjoy to me.) is often so visceral. as I'm typing this I'm realising that means I ascribe very little value to my own comfort/wellbeing compared to invonveniencing others...

#SizeSky The coyote lifted the palm-sized silver car onto her desk. Using a battery powered screw-gun and a special socket, she unzipped every lugnut with practiced speed, rotating all four tires in under three minutes. Efficiency was necessary when the line of tiny cars often spilled out the door.

Sometimes even the most happy and loved tinies feel anxious about not being enough for their giants. So every few days you should take your tiny and whisper all about how good they make you feel. Don't let them shy away from it, make them listen until they give you a teary eyed smile of acceptance.

#SizeSky "You know when you said you had a plane to catch, I thought you meant the normal sense." "Isn't it beautiful though? Look at them..." "Yes, yes, it's very cool, but go put it back. It's rude to delay an entire flight just because you want your roommate to experience holding one."

#SizeSky Hesitating briefly, the fox downed the potion in one go. His fur lengthened, his proportions bulking as the moon's curse took him. He spun to find himself smaller than a dark, fuzzy fingertip. "Lycanthropy is easy to grant," the cat witch said. "But you failed to specify a final size."

#SizeSky With a tight-lipped smile, the fox pointed at the popcorn combo she wanted. Flashing the ticket on her phone, another smile and a nod got her past the last employee before entering the dim theater. Taking her seat, she finally relaxed her jaw, releasing a soggy wolf into her hand. 1/4

I love macro micro because big people are cool and tiny people are cool and tiny people going camping on big people is cool and sometimes a tiny gets lost on a big but the big doesn't know so they just go to work and come home and then realize and so then they give the tiny kisses and a warm bath

I have what scientists are calling the “sugar daddy gene”. Whenever friends express a desire for something I have an instant pathological need to buy it for them. “This is so cute!” I’ll buy it for you. “I could really go for-“ I’ll buy you one. Unfortunately this is at odds with the fact I am poor

Today the orb revealed saving #Thyrus A quick nudge to get the micros out of the macro walkway, with a few picked up and given rides to their destination. This kindness had always been there, but it was buried beneath ancient prejudices. No lives at risk: The wheel of justice turns slowly but surely

Being of incredible size merely fascinated by, and interested in protecting, someone so curiously small that they could stand on their finger's claw, despite being separated by a barrier of language and scale

#SizeSky The collie speaks into her voice recorder, her computer transcribing them for her lab report in real time. "Since geckos rely on surface area to stick to things, can you reduce their surface area to the point they detach on their own? Subject has already been reduced by a factor of.. 1/7

#SizeSky A husky and a polar bear team up on an Antarctic summer expedition. With sunlight lasting for 24 hours, they travel in shifts. One walks, while the other shrinks down to sleep in a pocket tucked against their tummy. Warm, dark, restful. Alarm goes off, they trade. No campsite required!
