Fallon Brown

Nonbinary author of romance, mystery, fantasy, and historical centering trans & queer characters. Spouse, parent, devourer of books. Pronouns: They/them

Brainstorming a new project: Me: Definitely think this is going to be a M/F bi4bi story MMC: I'm a trans guy Me: Okay, still M/F bi4bi FMC: actually, I'm genderqueer. Me: *sigh* okay, so it's a M/X bi4bi story. apparently I don't know how to write a cis female main character anymore.

I am a clever mystery writer...just usually not in the first draft. I need to figure out the bones of the story(even though I outline ahead of time) and who the actual culprit is(I've been wrong before). So I tend to leave a lot of notes like this throughout the draft. #booksky #notestoself

Green background. At the top is an image of a notes app with the note [lay out clues]. On the left side is a partial book with a gray cover that says at the top Cat in the Bakery 2 then Cover(and title) Coming Soon. At the top left you can see one corner of the cover for Muffin to Die For.

Are you a romance reader? Do you want more queer characters? How about romances where falling in love is great, but it doesn't fix everything, just a soft place to land when the rest of the world is a mess. I hope you'll accept my application to be your next favorite romance author! #booksky

Tan background with images of coral. At the top it says application to be your next fav romance author. Under that are an image of a person in glasses with short hair, and of a paperback of Rounding for Home with a cross-stitched bookmark that says rounding the bases in the colors of the trans pride flag. One text section says Hi, I'm Fallon Brown. i'm based in Northwestern PA. I write books that feature queer characters finding love that gives them a soft place to land. The other section says What to Expect from my books. multiple queer characters. found family. baseball. not having to earn love but deserving it anyway.

So yeah, RIO is a book of my heart and I’m producing an audiobook edition (with 100% human and SAG/AFTRA union narrators Patrick Lawlor and Ruby Corazon!!) to complete this long running series. Do me a favor #Romancelandia and help spread the word! www.kickstarter.com/projects/suz...

Just a little look at the numbers in my Jax of All Trade series. If any of these interest you, the first four books are available now. The series starts with The Garage Fridge Situation(each story is mostly self-contained, but there are some threads that carry through). #booksky #cozymystery

pink background. At the top it says Jax of All Trade and just under that 'In Numbers'. In the center are four books covers for The Garage Fridge Situation, Down the Drain, Fixing the Books, and Wrapped Up in Murder. Above them it says They each have ^at least one... Under the covers is a checklist: small town with plenty of gossip, loyal canine companion, queer book club, large meddling family, murder to solve
