Summer is in full swing, which means the juiciest of California's bounty! Check out our monthly impact for June - last month, we supported 15 farms, delivered 44,430 lbs of produce, and provided 199,935 servings to food-seeking Angelenos.

From fresh peaches, to the famous strawberry, to mustard greens, California has so much fresh, regeneratively grown, local produce to offer. Summer goodness abounds!!☀️🍓🍑

Have you heard of this adorable squash varietal whose name is just as cute as its shape? Called pattypan squash, these tiny, round squashes with scalloped edges are in season right now and much beloved by chefs and eaters alike.

Ever wondered where Farm2People sources our produce? We work with regenerative practicing California growers located up to 400 miles from central Los Angeles. On the map, you can see where our farm partners are and how we define them as regional (≤400 mi), local (≤250 mi), or hyper local (≤100 mi).

Meet Anna, Farm2People’s ED! Anna is one of F2P’s co-founders, and her role includes fostering new and current relationships with partnering CBOs, nonprofits, food banks, and farmers. She appreciates shaping the org’s work and mission as we continue to learn about our community’s and farmers’ needs🌱
