I think you're holding out on me." Rhode, nervously: "Well-- heh-- c'mon, it's a waste to let the ones with real potential stop here... right? More money in the long run?" Adam jabs Rhode's chest with his middle finger, holding a cigar between the fingers of the same hand. Adam: "I don't pay you to think about the long run. I pay you to manage boxers, schmooze with competition, and feed the death machines."Sharkteeth page 223, Adam pulls Rhode closer by the tie, smirking at him threateningly while Rhode looks even more nervous (and maybe a little fear-bonered bc who could blame him) Adam: "Now, there's someone I'd like to hand-pick." Shot of Ikaika, the boxing gym Ken goes to, he's doing hist late-night deadlifts and Rhode interrupts him, some of Adam's muscle looming silently behind him. Rhode: "H-hey, Ken. You uh, got time for a meeting?" Ken turns, sweating with exertion, and looks over his shoulder suspiciously.
