Miniature wargames, sumo, OS/2, OSRPG, sarcasm Ça Plane Pour Moi is the greatest song in history. "And this kid, he's not a poser, he looks like a total nerd but his name is Mike, one of the most hardcore guys on the scene."

100% this. While I've made the garlic munching surrender monkey jokes in the past, it was because I was really ignorant of French history. The more I've learned, the French were in a real tough spot. The politicians failed their military, not the other way around.

I will fight and die on the hill that no one fought braver and better in 1940 than the French army in June, knowing that their best troops had already been lost and the Germans would show them little mercy

Wow, tell me you suck as a DM/GM without telling me. I remember when you had to use your imagination for freaking everything. Hell, we barely even had maps a lot of the time. I guess Rob is maybe new to RPGs and the old fart in his picture is a rando person my age.

Photo of Jordan Salinas, with a goatee, black bandana, and black shirt kneeling next to his brother with a lesser goatee, striped sweater, and chinos sitting in a wheelchair.

Those are some insane upgrades. Reminds me of people that put modern gaming PCs in ancient computer cases. However, ThinkPads are a special case. They are pretty bulletproof and I have a 9 year old daily driver t490s. They just don't die like others. Plus, they are very Linux friendly.
